Grandparents Day at Preschool

Addi invited Pa and Nah to Preschool for Grandparents Day on Friday, March 19th. Looking around the room, we found Addi's hot air balloon flying way up high. Nah loves art projects!

Nah and Addi made a beautiful flower project together. On one side of the flower it read " I Love You" while on the other side it read,

I have special grandparents,
I think they're pretty neat
They give me hugs and kisses
And they tell me that I'm sweet.

They think that I am special,
They like the things I do,
So I'll give them a special gift
To say, "I love you too!"

Next, all the little preschoolers sat in a semi-circle and read us BROWN BEAR while signing the colors and the different animals in the story. They did a fabulous job!

We then headed to the lobby area for a special treat, animal cookies, and took a quick tour of their playground and "race track" area. It looked like a super fun place to play!

Finally, we headed to music where Addi's class joined in with other classes for a sing-a-long.

Nah and Pa loved our visit to Addi's school.  Thanks for a special Grandparents Day, Addi!

Happy, Happy Birthday!

Today is Kim's "thirty something" birthday! We celebrated with a soup and salad luncheon at the Olive Garden with the family.

These pictures were taken by Kim's "little munchkin" aka Addi. Nice job!

Then it was one last celebration at home . . . for the OLD LADY!

Happy birthday, Kim! Hope you enjoyed your special day!

Happy Birthday, Dad (Khungs & Tai-Khungs)

89 years old! Of course, he was in his element at the Cal in Las Vegas. Some nice man gave me tickets to attend the Super Bowl banquet with Dad. The food was everything you would likely eat while watching the game. (chilli hot dog, chips, sushi, spam musubis, kalua pig with rice, egg rolls, vegies, fruits, cookies, brownies) However, Dad couldn't eat any of the yummy free food, he was missing his teeth. He tried swallowing chilli with some rice. Dad and I even put a small wager on the winning team . . . yup, I picked the winning team for him (lucky guess). After the first quarter, Dad decided the chairs were "uncomfortable" so we took the back door elevator to our room where he could lay in his bed to watch the game with his eyes half closed, it was his nap time, too! He's a hoot but enjoyed his trip!
