Ready, Set, She's Off!

Addi and Company are off to the malls for some last minute back to school shopping. The malls were filled with CrAziNesS with everyone on the planet doing the same thing the day before school starts.

Here Addi happily walks toward the mall with her purse.

She gets her new hair do . . . braided head band . .

with an added feather!

Next stop, shoe shopping . . Nordstrom, Stride Rite, Skechers, then back to Nordstrom and . . . NO SALE! Addi has such narrow feet that she can walk/run right out of shoes that tie or tie with a velcro. It didn't matter the size, brand or price which meant hour after hour with nothing that satisfied the buyer. So her mama went shopping online, hopefully, she will have better luck!

After a nice dinner at California Pizza Kitchen, an early to bed beauty sleep . .  she is heading off to First Grade at Eastridge Elementary.

Have a great school year, Addi!

OUR SUMMER BLASTS . . . are over!

Addi loves when the Johnson kids and Gracie are visiting Grandma Susan. They always have a splashing good time playing in the cal de sac.

Its been years (2004) since we took the boats for a spin at Sammamish State Park. They may have aged but they still have a "giddy-up and go."

We visited Safeco Field for a Mariner's Baseball game on a double bobble head promotion for Randy Johnson and Dan Wilson.

I bought a LivingSocial special and took a glass blowing class and made an ornament. Fun, fun, fun!

We had a fun afternoon watching the horses run.  However, my horses crossed the finish line last. Wonder why?

For old time sake from the days of going camping, we had yummy-licious burgers and shakes.

We needed to add an educational field trip so we stopped at this fish hatchery to learn about the "Life Cycle of the Salmon."

Addi spent a week at Horse camp and loved every minute of it. She can't wait to go again!

After five years in WA, our Bubbles, will be starting her career in the Aloha State. She will be teaching students at Liholiho Elementary, the same school she attended as a youngster. Bubs, we will miss you but know that those keikis are in good hands. Island paradise is calling you home so . . .

Safe journey and until we meet again, ALOHA!

Summer arrives along with . . . HOT temperatures . .

"real" pool play . . .

and evening balloons floating by our house!

Up, up and away . . . 'til next summer!
